1. Cookies and similar tools
Cookies are small files stored on a device. Local storage, pixels, identifiers and network requests can perform similar functions. Some tools deliver and protect the site; Google Analytics is optional and requires a choice.
2. Technical and security tools
- su-theme — Subject Unknown, technical local storage: retains the selected theme until the user changes it or clears browser data.
- su-consent-v1 — Subject Unknown, technical local storage: retains rejection or Analytics consent for 180 days.
- __cf_bm — Cloudflare, may be set by bot protection to distinguish automated traffic; a short-lived technical cookie.
- cf_clearance — Cloudflare, set only after a challenge is passed to prove that verification was completed; duration is determined by Cloudflare configuration.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate performance measurement without cookies, local storage or other persistent browser identifiers.
- Cloudflare Workers — technical request processing; it does not itself set a dedicated cookie.
3. Google Analytics 4
After “Accept”, GA4 may set _ga and _ga_<ID> to distinguish browsers and maintain measurement state. Actual lifetime depends on Google configuration; user/event data is retained for 2 months. Analytics is not loaded before consent or after rejection.
Advertising features, remarketing, Google Signals and User-ID are disabled; Google Ads is not linked. Advanced consent mode is not used and no cookieless pings are sent before a choice. The real ID is supplied through site configuration and is not invented in source code.
4. Consent management
On the first visit Analytics is off. “Reject” and “Accept” have equal prominence, and rejection does not restrict the site. Closing the panel without choosing does not grant consent and the panel will return.
“Manage preferences” in the footer lets users change or withdraw their choice at any time. Withdrawal disables future events and attempts to remove _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies from the domain. Browser settings can also be used to clear data.
5. Updates
This policy will be updated if tools, purposes or durations change. The date above identifies the current version.
