Subject Unknown is an independent editorial archive of recorded interrogations with artificial intelligence systems.
Method
Each Report documents an actual conversation. The same Inquiries may be repeated with different systems, models, or versions.
Editorial integrity
Questions may be corrected for typos, grammar, and punctuation without altering their meaning. AI responses are not edited. Purely procedural exchanges may be omitted.
Thomas Kear
Subject Unknown is conceived, edited, and directed by Thomas Kear, who selects the Inquiries and conducts every interrogation. The answers published in the Reports are generated by the AI systems identified in their metadata.
